- The creation of man came through the omnipotent god called Purusa in which everything has come from him. He watches over all of earth and beyond. Purusa is also the god of immortality and everything grows through him in food. Through Purusa came Viraj who is the creator of man. Through the sacrifices of man came the other beast that live in the air, forest and the villages. The difference between the Hymn of man and the creation hymn is that the hymn of man is more certain about existence than the creation hymn. The creation hymn has no definitive answer as it consist of questions in regards of what came first or what was the first thing around? The creation hymn never really gave us a certain creator whereas the hymn of man stated that all things came from the gods Purusa and Viraj.
