What created the universe and how did we know that the universe was created? According to the Creation Hymn, there was darkness upon darkness and within that darkness was water, through the power of heat came about “that one” and through “that one” came desire which was the first seed of mind. According to the creation hymn, those who though deep with their hearts would figure out non-existence and existence. Considering the tone of the narrator, curiosity still roamed across the hymn as the narrator asked many questions still remained in regards whether how we came to figure out that we existed or not. Considering stanza 6, the stanza consist of questions following another question such as “who really knows?, who here will here proclaim it?, whence was it produced?” This shows how the narrator is still looking for answers to those questions although still replacing those answers with more questions.
